Shana-We lift her up for deliverance from her lifestyle. We ask God to align her choices with His Word and with His will for her life. - James 4:7-10 So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet. (MSG)

Judy-We pray for deliverance from the strongholds of the enemy, clarity on her identity, and for her to return to the ways of her creator. - 2 Corinthians 10:4, "We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments." (NLT) - John 8:32 "continue in my word... and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Stephen, Trell, Derrick and our loved ones who are police officers-We pray God keeps his hand of protection on them as they carry out their daily police duties. We also pray for our neighborhoods to be kept safe. - Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Those in need of a job breakthrough-We pray God opens doors for work opportunities that pay well and that lead to long-term careers. - John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Pastors and Ministers preaching this morning-We lift them up for a fresh anointing, a bold, powerful Word and for the gospel to bear fruit. - Ephesians 6:19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.

Junior H.-We pray for him to take his medicine for his bipolar disorder as prescribed. We also pray for him to have an encounter with Jesus and be saved, for his mind to be regulated, and for him to become a productive person for Jesus. - Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

M M-We pray he submits his life to Christ and answer the call Christ has on his life.  - 2 Timothy 2:21 “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a utensil God can use for his purpose. Your life will be clean, and you’ll be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” (NLT)

All those who have backslidden and are straddling the fence-We pray for all backsliders, including our wayward relatives, to return to the fold, live a model life for Christ and strive each day to grow spiritually. -  “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name” (Psalm 86:11)

Grandparents who are raising their grand and great grandchildren-We lift the children to grow up in the fear of God. We also pray for the financial needs of the family to be met, for the emotional and physical needs of the couple to be granted and for them not to grow weary, - Romans 8:24“In hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope.

Those traveling today and tomorrow-We pray for travelling grace and provisions for their journey. - Deut 1:30 The Lord your God who goes before you will himself fight for you.

All those with a heavy heart-We pray God shows you how to give your burdens to Him, how to keep your hands off of it and how to patiently wait and trust Him to work it out for you. - 1 Peter 5:6-7 And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand by casting all your cares upon Him.

Our Young Adults-We beseech God to cover our young people with self-control, abstinence and for a moral revival to sweep through the atmosphere.  We also pray for hearts and minds of our young people to turn toward Christ. - For the grace of God... teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age. (Titus 2:11-13)

Marriages and Families-We continue to pray for the instability in families to settle down, for the spirit of division and separation to be brought under subjection and rooted out and for God to place a hedge of protection around the family unit. - Jeremiah 30:20 Their children will be as in days of old, and their community will be established before me; I will punish all who oppress them.

Everyone on the call this morning-We pray God grants your needs in abundance so you will lack nothing. We lift you for a day filled with rest and free from toil and struggle. - Psalm 85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

Tara of Atlanta-She has surgery this morning to remove her appendix. We ask God to permit the medical team to perform at the top of their skill levels, for surgery to be victorious, and for a complete recovery. - James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

S. M.-We lift up her marriage, asking God to pour out His spirit upon her heart and that of her husband. We pray for a renewed and sincere commitment to God and family. We also pray for unity and peace in the home. - "He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters … You, LORD, are my lamp; the LORD turns my darkness into light" (2 Samuel 22:17, 29, NIV).

Terrell-We ask God to keep His protective hand upon his spirit, his mind and his body. We ask for the truth to be revealed about what happened to him, for the responsible people to be held accountable and for justice to be served. - Ps 138:8 The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.

Portia-We petition God to strengthen her, to guide her and to grant her sustaining power. - Psalm 51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Researchers and Medical Pioneers-We pray God will guide the researchers to discover a cure for cancer, memory loss diseases and Parkinson's disease. - James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Everyone with a challenging job-We pray the peace of God takes up residence at your job environment, for the workers to take on an attitude of gratefulness and for your day to be filled with God's presence. - Exodus 33:14 My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.

Those with an unexpected financial obligation-We pray for God to make a way for bills to be paid, for homes and cars to be maintained and for Him to provide relief to those in a financial bind. - Rom 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things?

Everyone on the call-We pray that you will have a relaxing day filled with opportunities to shine your light. We pray you are surrounded with peace that is beyond belief, and with patience as needed. We also pray we are able to maintain your focus only on those things that matter.  - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

The family of Katherine (MiMi) Briggs -We lift her sister Eloise, daughters and niece, Torry T for strength and spiritual power to get through the days ahead. - Psalm 31:9 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; My eye is wasted away from grief, my soul and my body also.

Kat K S-We ask the Lord to heal her husband, Kamal whose leg was amputated, and he had open heart surgery on yesterday. - (Psalms 30:2 NKJV) O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.

Denise S-She lost her mom yesterday. We lift her for comfort and guidance as homegoing arrangements are made. - Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. (NLT)

Diana H-We ask the Lord to grant a healing touch to her leg and eliminate the pressure that keep building up in it. - (Isaiah 58:8 NKJV) Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

Brock L-He is incarcerated and dealing with depression. We ask for a spiritual revival in his soul and for his mind to be renewed. We also ask for his mom to be covered by the hand of God day and night. - Psalm 107:20 He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Aging Parents Needing 24 Hour Assistance-We pray for siblings to get on one accord in making decisions about their parent's daily care. We pray for God to humble their spirits and soften their words. We also ask for divine guidance and for the Lord to reveal His will. - “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  —Psalm 51:10

Mark J, age 88-He had another stroke and is in ICU at Phoebe Hospital. Mark's wife, Louise has early dementia. We are praying for total healing and restoration. - 3 John 1:2 I prosper and am in health even as my soul prospers.

Mable W, 88 -She is currently in Rehab. We are praying for peace of mind in her new surroundings, healing and comfort. - Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Richard H-We lift him for pain free days and restful nights. We ask God to heal his body. - Job 11:18-19 You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety.  You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.

Hester-We ask God to keep her strong spiritually and physically as she provides care for her husband. - 2 Corin 4:8-9 we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

Pastors-We ask for God to sustain their dedication to His cause, to protect them from the tricks of the enemy and to provide their needs. - 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

School Principals and administrators-We pray for their safety, their influence and their effectiveness. We also pray for their energy to be upheld as they perform their jobs. - 1 Corin 7:17 Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches. (ESV)

Those transitioning to a new job-We lift them for a smooth transition from their current position to the new one. We pray for favor in their new position and for God to lead and guild their speech and their actions in all they do. - Psalm 115:14 (NIV) 14 May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children. We pray for safe travels, no problems, hassles, or issues, and a great learning experience that will help her to move her business forward as God so directs. - Deuteronomy 28:6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

Rochelle M-She is having a procedure today. We are praying for God's comfort and favor and for all to be well. - “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

Tabrina P-We lift her for the Lord's protection against the fiery darts and the spiritual war that has been placed on her life. We cover her and her children from the continuous attacks by the enemy. - Psalm 91:10-11 Then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

Sheila R-We petition God to protect her from seen and unseen evil and to pour His favor upon her life. - Psalms 5:12 The Lord surrounds the righteous with favor as a shield.

Calvin W-We are depending on God to restore his body to full health. - Psalm 94:18-19 When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.

Those having to make a major decision about their relationship-We pray for God's guidance in the decision needing to be made. We ask him to make the direction clear and to make a way for His guidance to happen. - Proverbs 2:6, 9 For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path.

Those in the process of purchasing a home-We thank God for the blessing to get them to this point. We pray there is no struggle in the blessing, for the closing to go as scheduled, for provision for monthly payments to come with ease, and for a home filled with the presence and guidance of Christ. - Proverbs 21:1 - The king's heart [is] in the hand of the LORD, [as] the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Deacon M-He is having surgery.  We pray that the surgery is successful and that he will be totally healed. - Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.

Kyle B-He is a 27-year-old hiker who has been missing for 9 days. We pray he is found alive and well. - Psalm 121:7-8 The Lord will keep you from all harm–he will watch over your life; The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore.

George-We pray for God to sustain his spiritual growth, for provision and for God's presence to dwell in his home. - My days have passed, my plans are shattered, and so are the desires of my heart. Job 17:11

Those with unspoken needs-We ask God for spiritual, emotional, physical and psychological covering. We also ask for needs to be supplied. - Be strong and courageous, for the LORD will be with you wherever you go? (Joshua 1:9). The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. (Psalm 29:11).

Children and Teenagers Everywhere-We pray God will give them a spirit of self-discipline a mind controlled by God's Spirit and for them to be settled at school and at home. - I will hold fast the confession of God's Word without wavering, for He Who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23; 4:14)

Those who have grown discouraged on their jobs-We pray for a revival in disillusioned minds, for souls to be refreshed and for hope to be rebirth. - My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever (Psalm 73:26, NIV).

Everyone on the call this morning-We ask God to place an angel with you to protection your mind, your spirit and your actions. We ask Him to guide you into all truth and to help you walk out the day in strong faith. - “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name” (Psalm 86:11)

Hurricane Dorian Victims-We pray for search and rescue to yield 100% positive results today and for God to make a way and give people clarity on where to begin to rebuild their lives. - Isaiah 40:29 ESV He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Those whose medications are no longer effective-We pray for God to give the doctors wisdom to prescribe the proper medicine in the proper dosage for the specific condition. - Daniel 2:21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.

Adults desiring to return to school to get some additional training-We ask God to give them the motivation to pursue their dream, the means to do so and to make a way for it to happen. - Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Those whose credit needs to be repaired-We ask God to direct them on the biblical principles of money management, for them to apply what His Word says, and for divine intervention to improve their credit rating. - Mal. 3:10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

Family members who are not getting along with one another-We pray for family relationships to be restored and for unity to rule family decisions. - Colossians 3:13, NLT Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Bobby-We intercede for him to be strengthened, to be motivated and to be healed. - Deuteronomy 33:25 As your days, so shall your strength be. (NKJV)

Chubby-We pray for him not to get distracted but to stay focused on the job he has to do. We also pray he is surrounded with the right person to help him with his tasks. - Psalm 119:114 assures us, “You [God] are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.”

Nancy-We appeal to God for His guidance to fall afresh upon her and for her health to remain strong. - "Listen for GOD’S voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track." Proverbs 3:6 (MSG)

Chris W-We pray for him to clearly hear God's voice, for God to guide him in the way he is to go and for Him to be favored with God's presence and His peace. - Psalm 85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

Those who are frustrated-We ask God for daily guidance, patience and endurance for each day. We ask Him to provide the strength needed to withstand the pressure of daily life. - Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Generational Curses-We pray that Satan's power to veil minds is broken, for spiritual eyes to be open to the truth and for hearts to turn to Christ. - Psalm 22:27-28 From the four corners of the earth people are coming to their senses, are running back to God. Long-lost families are falling on their faces before him. God has taken charge; from now on he has the last word.

Expectant Mothers-We pray for them to be well and for motherhood to be a blessing.  - Psalm 85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

Those who are retired-We call upon God to bless them with all spiritual blessings. We also ask Him to give them an abundance of resources to live a life free from financial strain. - Psalm 138:8a: "The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever." (ESV)

Everyone on the call this morning-We pray God stirs within you a renewed passion to serve. We ask Him to give you opportunities to speak a life-giving Word today and for Him to keep His hand upon you and your offspring.  - Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Priscilla, young adult-Over the years, she has had various health challenges. We pray for total healing of her body and for God to reveal himself to her in a deeper way.  - Job 33:25 Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.

Older Workers who need jobs-We ask God to bless their job search efforts abundantly. We pray for their job search to be productive and for jobs to be granted that match skills and experience. We also ask for excellent pay with good benefits. - Psalm 107:1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Our college students-We lift them for the Lord to send godly friends their way and for them to walk in obedience to God and to their parents. - Psalm 119:14 I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.

Those with broken vehicles-We pray for God to supply their needs for car repairs to be done with perfection and in a timely manner. We also ask for interim transportation to be provided. - Psalm 118:8 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Those starting over again-We make an earnest appeal to God to keep them strong and encouraged. We lift them to continue to increase in the knowledge of God's Word. - Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
